My name is Mujahid — and if you're hearing that name for the first time, just know there's a whole story behind it. I didn't just pick up a pair of clippers and call myself a barber. I earned this chair through years of struggle, sacrifice, and a faith that refused to let me quit.
I come from a dark past. I've seen the pitfalls up close — watched them swallow people I loved. I dealt with trials and tribulations that would've broken most, and honestly, there were moments they almost broke me too. But it was only through the grace of God that I made it to the other side standing.
I went from being the kid that got counted out and overlooked — the one people wrote off before they ever gave me a chance — to a barber that's overbooked because the community believed in what I was building before I fully believed in it myself.
My parents planted seeds in me that I didn't fully understand until I needed them most. They taught me to never give up, never let 'em see you sweat, and keep pushing no matter what the circumstances look like. That's the code I carry into this suite every single day.
But when I look back on all of it — every loss, every setback, every door that slammed in my face — I don't see failure. I see God's curriculum. He wasn't putting me through those tests to break me. He was putting me through them out of love, to shape me, refine me, and prepare me for a life I couldn't have even fathomed from where I was standing.
This chair isn't just a business. It's a testimony. Every cut I give is a reflection of the journey, and every client that sits in this seat becomes part of the story.
